Johnny Michael
Founder, Delphic Solutions. Architect of the SCI platform.
Johnny Michael is the founder of Delphic Solutions and the architect of the SCI platform — a stakeholder strategy system of record for senior external affairs leaders. A retired Navy Reserve Public Affairs Officer and former senior civilian official, he advised Defense Secretaries, agency directors, and flag officers across more than two decades of military and federal service. At the Pentagon in 2015 he watched the strategic communications discipline's 2009 Joint Chiefs of Staff framework go unadopted because of complexity and ownership disputes. The framework had named the gap correctly: no durable mechanism existed to maintain coherence across the stakeholder ecosystems that determine strategic outcomes.
Years later, while experimenting with large language models, Johnny saw that AI could deliver the analytical scale the framework had aimed at — but only if its output was grounded in evidence-validated context. He conceptualized a human-in-the-loop framework for evidence-grounded assessment, then prototyped the platform that instantiates it. Prior to his strategic communications career he spent his first decade working in advanced electronics, project management, and programming. This technical start let him translate the subsequent twenty-plus years of communications and strategy education into the platform's first usable iteration as its hands-on developer. Today, Johnny leads Delphic Solutions with a commitment to helping organizations achieve the alignment, clarity, and durability that traditional processes fail to sustain.
